Westbury House Hotel - Windermere

we were made very welcome from the start the room was very nice and the full english breakfast was very good

The location was perfect. Only a short walk to Windermere town centre. The room was clean and breakfast plentiful.

The room was small.

Neat building and rooms with convenient decoration. Great and stunning location, great restaurant.

It is in the centre of Windermere, short walk to the lake and to Bowness.

Needs a refurbishment especially the bed.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Owners were fantastic and couldnt do enough for us. Would highly recomend staying at this Guest House to anyone, well worth the money.

Room 5 was an attic bedroom which was not what we had expected. Room was far too hot in April, even though ceiling fan provided. Bathroom was tiny, sink was in the bedroom . Shower stopped working during the shower one morning. Bed was too low and uncomfortable. Bedside tables were too low and small. Land lady was not present when checking in, or throughout the day so unable to ask for extra milk etc if needed. Had to ask for extra toast (only 1 slice per person brought to table unless asked for more). No sitting room. Too many restrictions: Dining room was locked until breakfast time. Breakfast was between 8.30am-9.00am, so only half an hour to get down to breakfast. Rooms had to be vacated between 9.00am and 10.00am for cleaning

Everything was very good, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY staff, magnificent location not far from shops & restaurants as well as Windermere and buses. A lot of options for breakfast, outstanding coffee, tea, fruit juices, cereal and slices of fresh bread. Great choice for weekend.

The location is prime, being close to shops and public transport. Breakfast was good, particularly the delicious marmalade, setting a pleasant tone for the day. Parking can be challenging, especially in inclement weather, and the lack of a bin in the room was inconvenient. The rigid breakfast hours and limited food options could use some improvement.

The location's sweet-quiet yet a short walk to the Windermere center. The bed was super comfy, and I liked the breakfast, especially the eggs and mushrooms. Just wish there was a bit more choice for breakfast. Oh, and parking can be tricky if you're not quick enough.

The place is cozy and well-located, with clean, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast, although parking can be tricky and the bathroom was quite small. Some additional amenities like a fruit option at breakfast would enhance the experience further.

If you're a foodie like me, you'll love Hooked, a fresh seafood joint just a hop away. Bowness boasts a fabulous mix of eateries, but nothing beats the zing of a pizza from Popeye's Pizzeria & Grill after a day's hike! The room was comfy and the breakfast was spot-on, kicking off each adventure just right.

Nice hotel with free wi-fi, tv, and an electric kettle. The staff helped me find great places to visit. I'll be back for my city break!

The breakfast selection was varied, with fresh ingredients that enhanced the quality of each meal. The modern amenities in the shower room, nice for a relaxing experience each time.

The room felt a bit cramped for my tastes, limiting space for my belongings.
